Where have you been, Erik Paulsen?

To the Editor:

On Feb. 12, 2017, Stephen Miller, President Donald Trump’s senior advisor stated: “The end result of this is that our opponents, the media, and the whole world will soon see, as we begin to take further actions, that the powers of the president to protect our country are very substantial, and will not be questioned.”

Since then President Trump has:

• Told 3,251 lies and misstatements since inauguration (per the Washington Post)
• Cut taxes, adding over $1 trillion to the projected national debt
• Damaged relations with our allies at the G-7 summit
• Heaped praise on the brutal dictator, Kim Jong Un
• Praised Russia’s Vladimir Putin
• Removed the United States from the Paris Climate Accords
• Withdrew the United States from Trans Pacific Partnership
• Killed the Clean Power Plan
• Separated over 2000 children from their parents at the border
• And more…..

Republicans in Congress have taken Miller’s statement to heart. Where have you been Erik Paulsen?
