Trump says we’re doing better than ‘most other countries’ on coronavirus. Not even close.

As President Trump prepares to rekindle his coronavirus briefings, he appears to have landed on a new talking point: Three times in three days, President Trump has downplayed the outbreak in the United States by suggesting that other countries’ even-worse problems are being ignored.

He might want to rethink that comparison.
