Trump tried to bury his own administration’s report outlining how climate change could cost the U.S. economy hundreds of billions of dollars and threaten the health of thousands if action is not taken to address global warming soon.
Now, despite these dire warnings, Trump continues to deny climate change.
“I don’t believe it.” – Trump
And the White House is trying to discredit the report written by nearly 300 scientists and 13 federal agencies.
“This is the most extreme version, and it’s not based on facts.” – Sarah Sanders
Trump is now doubling down on his climate change denial.
“One of the problems that a lot of people like myself — we have very high levels of intelligence, but we’re not necessarily such believers.” – Trump
“Whether or not it’s man-made and whether or not the effects that you’re talking about are there, I don’t see it.” – Trump
Trump’s not even making sense. Like, really.
“And when you’re talking about an atmosphere, oceans are very small.” – Trump
