Minnesota DFL Sees Record-Breaking Enthusiasm at State Fair

SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA — This year, the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party saw tremendous enthusiasm from attendees of the Minnesota State Fair. It’s clear the momentum that propelled DFLers to sweep every statewide office in 2018 is as strong as ever.

“I’m thrilled to report that Minnesotans showed up in record numbers to support the DFL at the Great Minnesota Get-Together,” said DFL Chairman Ken Martin. “Our party recruited thousands of volunteers, registered hundreds of voters, and sold more merchandise than ever before. The people of Minnesota are ready to send Donald Trump packing and elect DFLers who will protect our health care and build an economy that works for everyone.”

Signs of DFL Enthusiasm at the Minnesota State Fair:

Strong Volunteer Recruitment Numbers: The DFL’s impressive showing at the Minnesota State Fair didn’t stop at merchandise sales and straw poll participation. Over 4,400 Fair-goers signed up to volunteer for DFL candidates in the upcoming election cycle. Additionally, the Minnesota DFL had over 120 people sign up to volunteer at the DFL booth, where they helped register hundreds of voters and recruit thousands of volunteers.
