Days after House Republicans ousted Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) from her leadership position for challenging former president Donald Trump’s false claims of election fraud, Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-Tex.) on Sunday insisted that the conflict doesn’t interest most Americans.

Instead, he argued, voters want to hear about border security, inflation, and the gas crisis. “These are things that affect people, not this internal drama,” Crenshaw said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

Democratic Rep. Jim Himes calls out Chuck Todd seconds after he lets Rand Paul lie: ‘My head is only now decombusting’

AlterNet logoRep. Jim Himes (D-CT) called out NBC host Chuck Todd on Sunday for allowing Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) to spin President Donald Trump’s extortion of Ukraine.

“You have four House seats in play, and it’s one of the few states where Republicans can actually pick up House seats. There’s really nowhere else in the country are they actually playing on offense, other than in Minnesota.”
