Thane Rosenbaum, an expert on the holocaust and Nazi Germany, wants us to be careful not to use hyperbole when we compare Adolf Hitler’s Germany to President Donald Trump’s United States. But even though he’s extra careful, he still notices some “disturbing parallels” between the tactics used by both leaders — especially when it comes to their attacks on the press. Trump’s vicious attack on the media shows one thing clearly: He’s running scared

The following article by Margaret Sullivan was posted on the Washington Post website August 23, 2017:

President Trump attacked the media, including the New York Times, CNN and the Washington Post, during his rally in Phoenix on Aug. 22 “Fox has treated me fairly,” Trump said. “How good is Hannity? … And Fox & Friends in the morning is the best show.” (The Washington Post)
