Rep. Jamie Long (DFL-Minneapolis) is the chief author of HF 700, which prompts Minnesota to move towards 100 percent clean energy and complete the transition by 2050. The bill has already had an informational hearing in the House. Rep. Long released the following statement:

Rep. Zack Stephenson (DFL- Coon Rapids) has authored legislation to establish the Clean Energy First Act, requiring electric utilities to meet resource needs using clean energy resources. Rep. Stephenson released the following statement:
“I commend the Governor for his commitment to securing our green energy future,” said Rep. Stephenson. “Utilizing this forward looking plan will invest in our renewable resources, create jobs and slow down climate change.”
