McConnell’s rejection of federal aid for states risks causing a depression, analysts say

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) would rather see states declare bankruptcythan give them federal aid to deal with the economic collapse triggered by the coronaviruspandemic.
