Local Elections Matter.
So many Americans are looking forward to the 2020 elections because we’re sick and tired of Donald Trump’s blatant corruption and his attacks on our health care, our values, and the rule of law.
However, if you want to stand up for good governance and our progressive values, there are elections coming up in just a few weeks that are incredibly important: the 2019 local elections.
Voters all over our state have a chance to elect mayors, school board members, city councilors, and county commissioners. These positions have an incredible impact on our communities and our lives.
Will our local governments be clean and transparent, or will they mirror Donald Trump’s corrupt White House? Will our school boards invest in Minnesota’s students, or will they follow Betsy DeVos’ lead and attack public education? So many of the issues we care about nationally and on the state level have deep significance locally as well.

We don’t have to wait until 2020 to continue building a government that is effective, responsible, and puts the needs of Minnesotans first.
We hope we can count on you to vote on November 5th for candidates that will move Minnesota forward.
