The House Republican farm bill passed with only partisan support. Twenty Republicans joined all Democrats in opposing the bill. I led this effort because the bill that my Republican colleagues put together doesn’t adequately protect our farmers in this uncertain farm economy, and it leaves our hungry even more vulnerable with its partisan attacks on SNAP.
