This week, former Gov. Tim Pawlenty and Hennepin County Commissioner Jeff Johnson appeared before the GOP aligned Freedom Club of Minnesota. A poll of members was “pretty even” in the votes cast at the end of the interviews. According to one insider, the Freedom Club will not get involved in the Governor’s race before the primary and most donors have decided to hold off giving before the primary as well. morning take
