That compares to 420,000 in the 2010 gubernatorial primary. CD8 had the highest GOP turnout of any of the Congressional races with over 51K votes. CD6 and CD7 were the next highest in turnout. Poll
The newest edition of our Navigator polling found important shifts in the American public’s thinking about Trump, the November elections, the Special Counsel investigation, the Republican tax plan, and Trump’s family separation policy.

Here are the most important findings:

  • No more yes men. Democrats lead the generic ballot among likely voters — and mentioning Trump widens that lead. Voters prefer a Democrat who’ll provide a “check” on Trump to a Republican who’ll help the president pass his policies.
  • Continue the investigation. Support for continuing the Special Counsel investigation has grown stronger than ever as implicated figures like Paul Manafort and Michael Cohen become better known — and more unpopular.
  • Shifting public opinion on top issues. The Republican tax plan is fading from view, with both support and opposition falling among Americans. But opposition to Trump’s family separation policy has grown even stronger. Axios
